Astar PD-8800 7 Inch Portable DVD Player is a slim and compact DVD player which can entertain you by playing your favourite music and video 
CDs. This player features a 7 inches widescreen LCD panel with adjustable screen aspect ratios of 4:3 or 16:9. The screen supports resolution of 1440 x 234 pixels. It can play DVD Video, VCD, SVCD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD (Audio), CD-R, CD-RW and DVCD disc formats. It supports file formats like DivX, XviD and MP3.
The player is with advanced video controls like 4-step fast forward, play and 4-step slow motion. The unit has two built in stereo speakers with Dolby Digital and DTS digital surround support. It has a rechargeable battery which can provide playback time of up to 2.5 hours and 4 hours for charging. A full function remote control is provided for easy operation of the system. PAL and NTSC are the video output systems of this player. It has 24-bit/192 kHz audio DAC and 10-bit/27 MHz video DAC. This player is provided with on-screen display as well.
