Basically the audio in DVD will be in Dolby digital technology, this can transmit up to 5.1 channel surround soundtracks. It is better to check whether the player supports audio and MP3 files. DVD+R/-R will let you record only one time. DVD+RW/-RW will let you record a lot of times.
