Significant Features
It is a DivX DVD Player.  The physical disc formats supported by the player are CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, VCD and SVCD.

It does not have a CD/DVD changer and hence one does not have the option of surfing between movies. It uses progressive scan technique. The surround support is by Dolby digital DTS. While at the audio effects, it uses MP3 playback format and WMA playback without MP3 recording facility. Super video CD and video CD playback are possible.

The picture quality is good with JPEG. It does not have a built in hard drive, TV tuner or a VCR. SD card and Multimedia card are also not supplied.

The JVC XV-N 652 Digital Video Player is not provided with an electronic program guide or Ethernet. Firewire IEEE-1394 interface is not present.
