Nextbase SDV1102 portable DVD player is cute, handy DVD player that has been introduced in to the UK market recently. It looks very compact and sleek. It just weighs about 0.99 kg. This has a screen and it is about 10.2 inches in size. This screen supports HD-DVD and this gives the result to the picture with perfect clarity.
It is portable and can be handled very easily. This player is operated by batteries thus the life of the battery will depend upon the usage of the player. The player will consume a lot more power when it is not used with headphones. If the brightness of the screen is more then the power consumption of the battery will also be more.
A TV tuner is attached in it and it is the DVB-T. This has also got a memory card reader. This is used to display the pictures in the memory card. This card reader supports Secure Digital (SD) and Multimedia Card (MMC) memory cards.
This Nextbase SDV1102 portable DVD player supports CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW,DVD+R, DVD+RW, VCD and SVCD file formats. This product has got the ability to play Div X; it is a compressed format based on MPEG-4 technology. This also plays MP3 files. The device also supports JPEG picture support files. This unit has got only one composite video output, one digital audio output and a USB port for connecting with other compatible devices.
