Philips DCP850 DVD Player

Philips has come up with a new portable DVD player, which includes a wide variety of features in it. This new model has been named Philips DCP850 DVD Player. Dimensions of this portable unit include a width of 210mm, a depth of 178mm and a height of 39mm. With a weight of just 1.1kg, it can be easily carried around anywhere.
Main specs
Philips DCP850 Digital Video Player supports the playback of CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, VCD and SVCD. It supports the playback of MP3, which helps you to listen to the favourite and rocking music. With the help of Kodak picture CD this displays the photos in your DVD player.
The Dolby digital sound gives you the treat of a high quality sound and once you hear it you will stick to it. This model has one composite video output and in the included headphone out you can connect your headphone and enjoy all the programs without disturbing others. This function is very helpful during your travelling as you can enjoy yourself.
Display Features
This portable DVD player comes with a LCD TFT display of size 8.5”. Display is coated with anti glare polarizer that protects your too. Image brightness of the unit is 200cd/m² and the contrast ratio is 300:1. Maximum resolution of the display is 480 x 234 x 3 and the average response time is only 30ms. The pixel pitch supported by the device is 0.107(w) x 0.370(H) mm and the effective viewing area is 154.1 x 86.6mm.
Supported memory card with this Philips DVD player is SD / MMC card slot. Disc playback modes supported by the unit are OSD, A-B repeat, disc menu, fast backward, fast forward, repeat, shuffle play, slow backward, slow forward, zoom and the video disc playback system is PAL. Output power of this unit is 250mW RMS. Signal to noise ratio of the unit is > 80dB. Battery type used in the unit is Li-polymer and it supports a battery life of 2.5 hours.
