Toshiba has introduced a high definition DVD player modelled HD-A1 which gives you high picture quality. The DVD player also gives high quality audio sounds with its in built Dolby true HD, Dolby digital and DTS decoding technologies. The coaxial optical digital audio balances the audio and video.
This DVD player has a disc capacity of one disc at a time but can play formats like HD DVD, DVD movie, CD audio, DVD-R/RW, DVD-RAM, VCD, CD-R/RW, MP3, WMA and JPEG. This provides an added advantage as you can view different formats in one player itself.
Technical descriptions
The progressive scan feature supported by the Toshiba HD-A1 HDMI DVD Player allows displaying images with utmost sharpness and perfection. The multilingual support allows you to choose different language options. Another remarkable feature of the unit is parental lock that ensures safety of the device and unwanted use of the same by kids or strangers.
DVD up conversion is possible through HDMI up to 720p/1080i high definition. Aspect ratio can be controlled in this DVD player. The Ethernet ports for upgrades include USB port on front, compatible with MP3, WMA, and JPEG files.
