This new Panasonic DVD player has an 8.5” TFT active matrix LCD display which has an image aspect ratio of 16:9 and display format of 480 x 234 pixels. Media types like CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RAM, SVCD, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD, CD, Video CD, DVD+R DL and DVD-R DL can be played in the new DVD Player. NTSC and PAL media formats are supported as well. The digital video standards like DivX, MPEG2 and MPEG4 and the audio standards such as WMA and MP3 are supported by this DVD player. The audio output mode of this DVD player is stereo and it comes with a left and right channelled built in speakers.
The Panasonic DVD LS80EG-K Portable DVD Player has a 12bit/108 MHz video D/A converter and a 24 bit/96 kHz audio D/A converter. It has a 200x search speed. The connectors provided are 2 x headphone ( mini-headphone stereo 3.5 mm ), 1 x composite video input/output ( mini-phone 3.5 mm ), 1 x audio input / output ( mini-headphone stereo 3.5 mm ) and 1 x DC power input. Other features of this DVD player are HighMAT support, digital video noise reduction, dialogue enhancer, depth enhancer and JPEG photo playback. A/V cables and infrared remote control are included with this DVD player. Its smaller dimensions of 24.3 x 17.3 x 4.7 cm and light weight of 1.03 Kg makes it easily portable.
