Toshiba SD-P1700 Portable DVD Player supports CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD, CD and Video CD playback. The Video D/A Converter are 14bit / 108MHz and the Audio D/A Converter are 24 bit/ 192 kHz. This DVD player supports slow motion function and the slow motion speed of the system is 1/8, ¼ and ½. Picture modes facilitated are Normal and letterbox. Digital video standards supported are DivX, MPEG-4 and AVI and the digital audio standards supported are WMA, Ogg Vorbis, MP3, ADPCM and AC-3.
This Toshiba DVD player comes with a 7” colour TFT active matrix LCD display. Image aspect ratio is 16:9 and the display format is 480 x 234 pixels. This DVD player supports picture zoom function and parental lock function. Other features included are On-screen display and JPEG photo playback. Sound output mode is stereo. Surround sound effect is Virtual Surround Mode. The built in 2 speakers gives you high quality sound output. Included infra red remote control makes the controlling of functions very easy.
